The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In extending columns. 9

Almighty God's Truth.
