The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking his riches have made him immortal! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 roaring over the hearts 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
