The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
