O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another to attain to your Sustainer's forgiveness and to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for the God-conscious 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 They shall be recompensed by forgiveness from their Lord and by gardens beneath which rivers flow; there they shall abide. How good is the reward of those who labour! 136 [MANY] WAYS of life have passed away before your time. Go, then, about the earth and behold what happened in the end to those who gave the lie to the truth: 137 This is a clear declaration for mankind, and a guidance and a warning for those who preserve themselves from evil. 138 Do not be discouraged or grieved. You alone will have true dignity if you only are true believers. 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 and that God might render pure of all dross those who have attained to faith, and bring to nought those who deny the truth. 141 Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? 142 And you had certainly wished for martyrdom before you encountered it, and you have [now] seen it [before you] while you were looking on. 143
