Believers, do not consume usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear Allah, in order that you shall prosper. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 Obey Allah and the Messenger in order to be subjected to mercy. 132 ۞ And vie with one another, hastening to forgiveness from your Lord, and to a garden whose breadth is as the heavens and earth, prepared for the godfearing 133 who spend in prosperity and in adversity, for those who curb their anger and those who forgive people. And Allah loves the charitable 134 And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - Who forgiveth sins save Allah only? - and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. 135 For such, the reward is Forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (who do righteous deeds according to Allah's Orders). 136 Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. 137 This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard (against evil). 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If you get hurt, certainly others have also experienced injuries. We have made people pass through the different turns of history so that God would know the true believers, have some of you bear witness to the people's deeds, {God does not love the unjust} 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without God know who of you have struggled and who are patient? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143
