Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
