Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
