Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
