Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
