Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
