Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
