Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
