Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

Lo! We reveal unto thee the Scripture with the truth, that thou mayst judge between mankind by that which Allah showeth thee. And be not thou a pleader for the treacherous; 105 But seek the forgiveness of Allah; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. 106 And do not dispute on behalf of those who betray themselves; surely God loves not the guilty traitor. 107 They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do. 108 Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 Whosoever earns a sin, he only earns it against himself. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 111 But whoever earns an offense or a sin and then blames it on an innocent [person] has taken upon himself a slander and manifest sin. 112
