We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
