[Prophet], do you not see that all those who are in the heavens and on earth praise God, as do the birds with wings outstretched? Each knows his own mode of prayer and glorification: God has full knowledge of all that they do. 41 And Allah's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah is the return. 42 Do you not see how God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into layers and then you see the rain pour from their midst? He sends down from the skies mountainous masses [of clouds] charged with hail, and He makes it fall on whom He will, and turns it away from whom He pleases. The flash of His lightning may well-nigh take away the sight. 43 He alternates the day and the night: there is indeed a lesson in it for those who have observing eyes. 44 And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things. 45 We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight. 46 They say: 'We believe in Allah and the Messenger and obey' But a party of them turn away after this. Those are not believers. 47 When they are called to God and His Prophet, that he may judge between them, a section of them turns away. 48 But if the right is with them, they come to him willingly with submission. 49 Is there a sickness in their hearts, or are they full of doubt? Or do they fear that God and His Messenger will be unjust to them? The truth is that they themselves are wrongdoers. 50
