The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
