But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
