a large group of the earlier people 39 and a throng of the later folk. 40 The Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 41 [They will find themselves] in the midst of scorching winds, and burning despair, 42 And a shade of black smoke, 43 Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please: 44 They were endowed with good things 45 and persisted in the Great Sin, 46 And they used to say: When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again, 47 What, and our fathers, the ancients' 48 Say, "Indeed, the earlier ones and the later ones 49 will indeed be gathered together at a fixed time on an appointed Day. 50 Then you, the erring and the deniers, 51 "You verily will eat of the trees of Zaqqum. 52 And fill (your) bellies with it; 53 "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 54 drinking it as thirsty camels do.” 55 This is their entertainment on the day of requital. 56 We have created you, so why do you not believe? 57 So what is your opinion regarding the semen you discharge? 58 Do you create a child out of it, or are We its creators? 59 We have decreed death to you all, and We are not unable, 60 To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not. 61 And assuredly ye have fully known the first production wherefore heed ye not? 62 See ye the seed that ye sow in the ground? 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 (And say:) "We have fallen into debt; 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Did you cast a good look at the water that you drink? 68 Is it you who cause it to come down from the clouds - or are We the cause of its coming down? 69 If We will, We would make it bitter, why then do you not give thanks? 70 Have you considered the fire which you strike? 71 Was it ye who made the tree thereof to grow, or were We the grower? 72 We have made it to be a reminder and a benefit for the wayfarers. 73 Glorify, then, (O Prophet), the name of your Great Lord. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
