۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
