Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
