3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
