Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifieth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; He quickeneth and He giveth death; and He is Able to do all things. 2 He is the First (nothing is before Him) and the Last (nothing is after Him), the Most High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him). And He is the All-Knower of every thing. 3 It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. 4 To Him belong the heavens and the earth and to Him all things return. 5 He brings the night in a part of the day, and brings the day in a part of the night; and He knows what lies within the hearts. 6 Believe in God and His Apostle, and spend of what He has given you as His trustee. And those of you who believe and spend in charity will have a great reward. 7 What has come upon you that you believe not in God, though the Prophet is calling you to believe in your Lord? And He has already taken your pledge, if you are believers. 8 It is He who sends down to His Servant clear revelations, so that He may lead you out of darkness into light. God is indeed compassionate and merciful to you. 9 And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. 10
