The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
