And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
