AND THEY WILL ask thee about [what will happen to] the mountains [when this world comes to an end]. Say, then: "My Sustainer will scatter them far and wide, 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 "Nothing crooked or curved wilt thou see in their place." 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they do not comprehend Him in knowledge. 110 ۞ (All) faces shall be humbled before (Him) - the Living, the Self-Subsisting, Eternal: hopeless indeed will be the man that carries iniquity (on his back). 111 but those who have believed and done good works shall fear neither wrong nor injustice. 112 And this is how We revealed it as an Arabic Qur’an, and in different ways gave promises of punishment, that they may fear or it may create some pondering in their hearts. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 And assuredly We covenanted with Adam aforetime, then he forgat, and We found not in him steadiness. 115
