The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
