Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
