And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
