The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go about through the earth and see what has been the end of the evil-doers." 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
