Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; 2 He will be plunged in flaming Fire, 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
