And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 and ask them, "Why do you not fear God?" 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst, and thou wast one of the ingrates. 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 Now this is the favour that you tauntingly remind me of: that you enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 He said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between, if ye seek to be convinced. 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
