The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 And the breath of morning 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
