By the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the guilty: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
