Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
