And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 and bestowed upon them the Signs wherein lay an evident test for them. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "That [which is ahead of us] is but our first [and only] death, and we shall not be raised to life again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42
