The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not make their plan into misguidance? 2 and send against them flocks of birds, 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 Thus He made them like stubble cropped by cattle? 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
