The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
