With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
