HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
