The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars. 176 when Shuaib said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 177 Lo! Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
