Allah is He Who made the cattle for you that you may ride on some of them, and some of them you eat. 79 (Many) benefits ye have from them - and that ye may satisfy by their means a need that is in your breasts, and may be borne upon them as upon the ship. 80 And He sheweth you His signs. Which, then, of the signs of Allah shall ya deny? 81 Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than them and mightier in strength, and in the traces (they have left behind them) in the land, yet all that they used to earn availed them not. 82 When their Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they arrogantly exulted in whatever knowledge they had. They were then encompassed by what they had mocked. 83 So when they saw Our punishment, they said, “We accept faith in the One Allah, and reject those whom we ascribed with Him.” 84 Then their Faith (in Islamic Monotheism) could not avail them when they saw Our punishment. (Like) this has been the way of Allah in dealing with His slaves. And there the disbelievers lost utterly (when Our Torment covered them). 85
