Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 The living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
