But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And that which you do not see. 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
