Blessed is He Who, if He please, will give you what is better than this, gardens beneath which rivers flow, and He will give you palaces. 10 Nay they deny the hour (of the judgment to come): but We have prepared a blazing fire for such as deny the hour: 11 When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring. 12 And when they are cast, coupled in fetters, into a narrow place of that Fire, they will call out there for destruction. 13 "This day plead not for a single destruction: plead for destruction oft-repeated!" 14 Say thou: is that better or Garden of Abidance that hath been promised to the God-fearing? It shall be theirs as a recompense and a retreat. 15 Living there for ever, they shall find in it all that they desire. That is a promise binding upon your Lord, and to be asked of Him. 16 Upon the day when He shall muster them and that they serve, apart from God, and He shall say, 'Was it you that led these My servants astray, or did they themselves err from the way?' 17 They will say; hallowed be Thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside Thee any patron, but Thou allowedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed. 18 So they belie what you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Those of you who have done evil, We let them taste a great punishment. 19 We never sent before you apostles who did not eat food and walk the market places. We make some of you the means of trying the others. So will you persevere? Your Lord is always watching. 20
