Say: "I do no more than invoke my Lord, and I join not with Him any (false god)." 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path." 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: "I do not know whether that [doom] of which you were forewarned is near, or whether my Sustainer has set for it a distant term." 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 save only to such a Messenger as He is well-pleased with; then He despatches before him and behind him watchers, 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
