And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
