Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
