The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Certainly will the believers have succeeded: 1 those who are humble in their prayer; 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 And who pay the (obligatory) charity. 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 7 And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, 8 And those who keep a guard on their prayers; 9 these are the heirs 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food for those who eat. 20 And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat. 21 You are carried by the animals on land and by the ships in the sea. 22
