Al-Baqarah 19 of 40
O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 when a misfortune comes to them, they say, "We are Allah's and we shall certainly return to Him,'' 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Those who conceal the evidence of the truth and the guidance We have revealed, after We have made them clear to people in the Scripture, will be rejected by God and so do others. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 They shall be abiders therein, the torment shall not be lightened on them, nor shall they be respited. 162 And your God is one God! there is no god but He; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful. 163

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
