The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with reason. Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 God's it is to show the way; and some do swerve from it. If He willed, He would have guided you all together. 9
